Acta Musei Napocensis is the scientific journal of the National Museum of Transylvanian History, first published in 1964, one year after the establishment of the Museum of History in Cluj. The Historica series, published as a distinct journal since 1994, aims to bring together innovative, interdisciplinary, and high-quality studies that promote new research perspectives within a broad thematic area covering the field of history and historical and archaeological heritage corresponding to the medieval, modern, and contemporary periods. The journal encourages the publication of original papers, presenting the results of scientific research in archaeology, history, art history, museum studies, archaeometry, and digital humanities, as well as topics related to heritage care.
